Barry Wayne's earliest childhood memories were filled with the desire to someday become a musician. Just as people usually become what they secretly desire the most, Barry soon found himself developing talents as a musician and singer.

As time progressed, Barry found himself involved in secular music. This overwhelming desire put him on stage with such country music greats as David Allan Coe, Hank Thompson, Ronnie Stoneman and many other Opry favorites.

Soon his profession was filled with the lifestyle that often accompanies secular music. Barry became involved with drugs and alcohol. Looking up from the bottom of hopelessness and despair, he turned his eyes toward the Savior. Finally, those God given desires were aligning with the will of God for Barry's life.
As a Christian, Barry has worked for the Fox Brothers and later on he spent five years working with troubled youth. This direction was held until God's call came to embark on a solo career. The next year was spent opening services all over the country for The New Hinsons and many other top named artists in the Southern and Country Gospel Industry. Barry's writing also took a turn for the better, co-writing with such great songwriters as Ronnie Hinson, Chuck Day and Mike Manuel. Since then, Barry has traveled extensively to share the gospel in song and preaching the Word in churches, concerts, revivals and special events.

Barry coordinated the award ceremonies for the Country Gospel Music Guild in 1998, 1999 and 2000. He has appeared on many Christian television networks including TBN, ACTS, Prime Time Christian Broadcasting and The Angel Network. He also hosts many major events including the all night singings twice a year, reaching 150 countries and broadcast live on World Wide Radio from Upton, KY.
